Isabel S. Peirson, 90, of West Grove, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2013, at Neighborhood Hospice, West Chester.
She was the wife of the late Carleton R. Peirson, who passed away in 2000, and with whom she shared 61 years of marriage.
Born in Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late Granville M. and Belloneida Benjamin Stephens. Mrs. Peirson was a homemaker and she enjoyed quilting, reading and being with her family and friends.
She was a member of the Hamorton United Methodist Church. She is survived by one son, Rondel G. Peirson and his wife Victoria of Kennett Square;
one daughter-in-law, Michelle Peirson of West Grove; one brother, Lawrence M. Stephens of Unionville; two sisters, Margaret E. Wade of Boynton, Fla. and Erma Y. Singer of New Holland;
and one granddaughter, Katelynn Peirson. Mrs. Peirson was predeceased by two sons, Edward C. Peirson and Stephen A. Peirson; and two brothers, John Wesley Stephens and Harvey G. Stephens.
You are invited to visit with her family and friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, May 24, at the Hamorton United Methodist Church, 1052B East Baltimore Pike, (Route 1) , Hamorton, Pa.
Her funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Longwood Cemetery, Kennett Square. In lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made to the Hamorton United Methodist Church at the above address.
